Moroccans living in New York have set up a new charity association
to support the Moroccan community living there and back solidarity
actions undertaken in Morocco.
The "Moroccan Charity Association of New York," a volunteer
non-political organization, will also be helping Moroccan new comers
to New York and help them integrate in the new environment.
Among the actions projected, the association plans to hold a "Moroccan
day" with New York city authorities, and summer camps for children
of Moroccans living in the metropolis. It also projects to open
a pedagogical and entertainment compound, comprising a conference
hall and classrooms for the teaching of Arabic.
